Maureen Langan

BEST of the FEST Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Montreux Int’l Comedy Festival, MAC Award Winner, Finalist San Francisco Comedy Competition

MAUREEN "MO" LANGAN is one of the smartest, most fearlessly funny comics working today. Her exceptional wit and honest rants on life’s absurdities make her a comedy standout at clubs, theaters, and festivals across the U.S, Canada, and Europe. Once she takes to the stage it’s clear to see why she was named one of the “Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching” by Backstage Magazine.

Whether Maureen is lambasting celebrities, satirizing news, or joking about her garbageman father and blessed Irish immigrant mother, she will make you laugh and she will make you think.

MAUREEN has opened for Joy Behar, Steven Wright, Dennis Miller, and Jordan Sparks. She performed at Town Hall on Broadway with Rosie O’Donnell. Langan is a regular at Carolines on Broadway, one of the country’s premiere comedy clubs. She has appeared on Gotham Live, HBO, Red Eye, Cozi TV, Taxi TV, the Paramount Pictures film “Marci X,” and in many national commercials.

MAUREEN is an award-winning broadcast journalist. She can be heard every Sunday night hosting Hangin‘ with Langan, a three-hour talk show on San Francisco’s premiere radio station KGO. Her wit and shoot-from-the-hip interviewing style earned her the title of Best Female Commentator for her work on Bloomberg Television and Radio. She has dished with the likes of Howard Stern, Joan Rivers and George Carlin.

MAUREEN’s skills as a comic and journalist make her a popular contributor to the talk show circuit, including HLN, CBS, FOX and MSNBC

An in-demand corporate emcee, Maureen has hosted events for Microsoft, WebMD, Cancer Cares, and the Tony LaRussa Animal Rescue Foundation. She was honored when Robert Kennedy, Jr personally invited her to perform at his prestigious Riverkeeper’s annual Fishermen’s Ball in New York City

“Maureen is to comedy what James Brown was to soul.” Jerry Stiller, Comedian and Actor
“Maureen is wry and wicked. Audiences love her and so do I!” Joy Behar, Comedian
“Condescendingly brilliant!” Daily News, Edinburgh, Scotland

Whether on stage, television or radio, MAUREEN LANGAN delivers. Give her a mic and see for yourself.
